Montauk Intermediate School is currently involved in a laptop pilot program. The Department of Education along with school districts throughout the country are assessing this program. Twenty-one other school are involved in this pilot.
Tablets were issued to every student in the seventh grade and so far, 55 teachers and administrators have been issued tablets. By the end of September 2007, our school will be at critical mass. Every student in the building will be using a tablet during the school day.
Please comment on what we have done right and how we can improve our program.
